Whether you are closing the cover on one romance or carving out some me-time, Self-Love is essential to life. Turn on your favorite tunes, light the grill on a chilly afternoon, and indulge in these simple, yet refined, briny and subtly-sweet clams basking in garlic butter. Add a glass of intense and vibrant Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc, chilled to a perfect 47 °F. Its notes of ripe passionfruit, white peach and a hint of lime will perfectly frame this meal for one.

Garlic Butter Clams
With their fragrant aroma and beautiful shells, these clams tossed in garlic butter are much easier to make than they look.

INGREDIENTS
• 1 lb. Littleneck Clams or local clam variety, cleaned and scrubbed, discarding any broken or open shells
• 3 Tbsp. Butter
• 1 Clove of Fresh Garlic, minced
• Kosher Salt
• Wedge of Lemon
• 1 Tbsp. of chopped flat-leafed parsley
INSTRUCTIONS
MAKE THE GARLIC BUTTER SAUCE:
Melt the butter. Add the garlic. Salt to taste. Set aside.

MAKE THE CLAMS:
1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
2. Once the grill is heated, in one layer spread out the clams on the grill. Close the lid and cook for 2 minutes or until the clams open.
3. Carefully move the clams to a large bowl. Discard any unopened clams.
4. Pour garlic butter sauce over clams. Sprinkle parsley and squeeze lemon juice over clams. Toss gently.
North African-Inspired Chicken
This one-pot wonder is also a set-it-and-forget-it type of meal, giving you plenty of time to open a bottle of wine and get to know each other better.

INGREDIENTS
• 2 Large chicken Legs (drumsticks & thighs)
• 1 Tbsp. Olive Oil
• 1/2 cup halved apricots
• 1/2 cup dried plums (prunes)
• 1/4 cup pitted green olives
• 5 whole garlic cloves
• 4 slices of preserved lemons
• 1 cup chicken broth
• 1/2 Tsp. salt
• 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
• 1/4 cup white wine
INSTRUCTIONS
1. In a large dutch oven, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Brown chicken until skin turns golden. Take off heat.
2. Preheat oven to 350 °F.
3. In a small bowl, whisk together chicken broth, salt, brown sugar, and white wine.
4. Layer apricots, dried plums, olives, and lemons over chicken.
5. Pour mixture over chicken. Cover and bake for 40-45 minutes or until chicken is cooked through and juices run clear.
6. Let sit for 10 minutes before serving.
7. Serve with couscous or rice pilaf.

Cloudy Bay Pinot Noir + North African-Inspired Chicken

Having your new love interest over for the first time? This dish is dressed to impress with tender chicken and preserved lemons. Plus, it's a one pot wonder — set-it-and-forget-it, giving you more time to get to know each other. A generous glass of Cloudy Bay Pinot Noir, with its deep, dark-fruited and aromatic notes, will compliment the dish's plump stewed apricots and dried plums. This meal can please even the pickiest of palates.

Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc + Vietnamese Spring Rolls

What is a better meal than one you can make together? These fresh and easy Vietnamese spring rolls are an entire meal wrapped up in one little package. Plump shrimp, fragrant Thai basil, cool cucumbers, and savory-sweet peanut sauce are balanced by the vibrant citrus acidity of Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc. Line up the fillings and get to rolling. Between the two of you, they'll be ready in no time.

Unexpectedly satisfying, with layers of texture, these spring rolls look like they should be served at a fancy gathering. Yet, they're a snap to make.

INGREDIENTS
• 1 lb. cooked and peeled medium shrimp
• 2 oz. rice vermicelli noodles
• 6 large rice wrappers
• 3 leaves of Bibb lettuce, cut in half
• 4-5 scallions, roughly chopped
• 1 cup cucumber, cut into thick sticks
• 1/4 cup carrot, thinly julienned
• 1/4 cup Thai basil, roughly chopped
• 6 fresh cilantro sprigs
• Peanut Dipping Sauce, homemade or store-bought
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Cook noodles per directions. Drain and set aside.
2. Prep your work station. Line up all your veggies, shrimp, and noodles. Lay out a clean, damp kitchen towel to work on.
3. Fill a wide casserole or pot with hot water, enough to submerge the wrappers.
4. This is when the teamwork kicks in. Soak the wrappers, one at a time, completely submerging them for 15 seconds or until soft and pliable.
5. Down the center of a wrapper, layer in a line your shrimp first, then veggies and noodles. No need to measure. Do what looks tasty.
6. Fold one half of the wrapper over the other, fold over the side seams, then firmly roll from the stuffed side up to the end seam.
7. Gently place finished spring rolls in a dish covered with a damp paper towel. Do not crowd or they will stick to each other.
8. Serve with your favorite peanut sauce.
